I have now re-learned the runic alphabet and adapted it for German, as well as doing a lengthy study of Elven Tengwar before finally adapting it for French. Why bother? Well, because, when I tried to learn the Elven alphabet, I went on writing it in the completely wrong way: Straight from the book. I decided to look up Tengwar on www.omniglot.com, which features a page about mostly every alphabet there is, and found out how it works: It's actually an abjab (only symbols for consonants), not an alphabet, which matters a lot. The next thing, which makes it such an incredibly beautiful script, is the diacretics (little marks above the letters), which indicate vowels. I realized after a second that the language was ment to be written in Elven, which is a language in its own, as well as an alphabet/abjad. Other people have made pages on Omniglot for their version of Tengwar that is suitable for English, Hungarian, Scottish Gaelic, Spanish, Latin American Spanish, and Welsh, but not French, which is what I needed! Well, if you want something done . . .

In the 90s or so, a virtual pet toy was released called Furby. I needn't say more since you probably already know this guy. However the purpose you read my blog is to discover rare secrets, correct? So listen to this:

A CIA agent bought as a Furby one day (this is a true story; no really!). He kept it for a while, trying to make sense of it, which is impossible, frankly. The longer you keep a Furby and talk to it, you end up teaching it English. As Furbies became popular, th CIA aent brought his Furby to work to show off to his friends. During a top secret meeting about a plan to counter a terrorist attack on some Iraqi city (Don't ask me hw I know what they were talking about.). One agent used the word "army" in a sentence. Furby who was at this meeting too, repeated the word. No one payed any attention to it, but the important stuff comes later.
Later at home, the Furby was eating dinner with the family, when it randomly decided to show off its unique language powers combined with its very large memory (Howstuffworks has actually proclaimed it has 4 times the power of the Apollo Lander). In a special demonstration, it repeated the entire top secret meeting. From then on, Furbies were banned from all government buildings; and the agent's Furby witnessed an atomic bomb testing up-close, to ensure its non-survival (he, he, he). It is said that the Furby's last words were, "Pwitty Colors!".
Virtual pets though, I'll have to remember that one.
Also, do Tamagotchis go to Tomagotchi heaven?

There is a tin can full of aero-gel. It would take 25 tons of pressure to push it completely out of the tin can. If an ant can hold up about 2 pounds, but can push at only 10.3 ounces of pressure. You have 30,000 ants in your possession and three tanks of nitroglycerin. Each nitro-tank can produce 1.3 tons of pressure. You also have a Molotov Cocktail which can produce 600 pounds of pressure.

Could you push the aero-gel out of the tin can with the ants?
If so, what is least percent of the 30,000 ants needed to accomplish this?
How many of the explosives would you need to use, if the ants cannot do it alone?
If you still can't push it quite out, how many more pounds would you need?
Are you scared of aero-gel now?

In Science we (the class) are working on a genetics project, in which we raise llamas, trying to breed them to get the most valuable gene combination. If you want to know how it is going, look for "Llama Dirt" posts. My original P1 generation parents that the llama god (me) created are named Gustav and Mavis; their son is Adolph. He has been single for a while.

Llama Dirt:
Finally Gustav and Mavis's "Financial Help in Exchange for Women" ads have struck a cord. In exchange for helping a guy named Dan, Adolph was matched with Dan's Rosalina. Rosalina is a good mother with a daughter of her own, who is not yet wed. However, Rosalina has 2 homozygous recessive genes, which could jeperodize the family. Dan was satisfied with the financial help he recieved and Rosalina was sold at 2/3 price. Rosalina's previous husband knows it's useless to protest, since he can't talk! Even if he could, business is business. (A little sick, I know.)

Many people will recognize Alchemy as the process of trying to turn lead into gold. This is not entirely correct however. Alchemy is the combination of science and magic. For instance, being able to turn water (H2O) into fructose (C6 H12 O6) because they both have twice as many hydrogen atoms as oxegyn. There are three overall goals in alchemy: To create life; to turn base metals into precious stones and metals; and to discover the secret of immortality. All of these were supposedly discovered by Nicholas Flamel, but he doesn't feel like telling anyone.
There was another alchemist and his wife in the late 1600s that were kept very secret. They came up with 3 more goals for alchemy: 1. What makes people beautiful? 2. From these components, can I create a remedy to make myself more beautiful? 3. Is there something in common with the people I fall in love with? 4. Using all this can I predict who I or others will fall in love with?
Gilbert Monstrois (his name) sent these to the International Alchemy Institution in Paris for further study. The IAI said he could have them experimented at his disposal, as long as did it himself. The results were drastic: 1. There are 30 parts of the body in females and 27 in males that make them attractive. 2. Using pheromonic and hormonic philtres, it is possible to make yourself beautiful. 3. People will only fall for others when they have certain components of the 30/27 mentioned. 4. Not in particular, but you can tell generally by learning his or her "preference."
Montrois also discovered that the most popular type of women were called "blû-pois çilles", and the least common interest (which Monstrois was) was called "dîs flaustè". This term still survives as a French insult for unstylish.

The secret of invisibility has been discovered. The process involves light being refracted around an object, so that the thing is put between two layers of vision. It only works during rain, though.
